Best Thai in the area. High quality shrimp and excellent flavor in the vegetable plate. Already looking forward to eating from here again.

Good small time find within Colony. Hours can vary, but when they are open I always enjoy! Curry is a fav and will be great as it gets colder!

They say the most authentic Asian restaurants are always at 3.5 stars, and Sanook definitely hits the spot if you're craving authentic Thai cuisine. Thankfully, there's not much issue with the service, since Sanook is located in The Colony, which is a ghost kitchen where you can place an order either online or at an on-site kiosk. We ended up ordering through Uber Eats, which is running a BOGO free promo on so many of their dishes. This time, we ordered the shrimp pad Thai and Hainanese Chicken rice, which all arrived well-packaged and in a timely manner. Both dishes had authentic flavors and were generously portioned, although I was a bit miffed at the prices ($23 for 3 pieces of shrimp before the discount, and $18 for not even an entire chicken breast). Overall, while I enjoyed the dishes, I probably wouldn't try this spot again unless Uber Eats was still running a promo, due to their high price points. If you're looking for authentic Thai food, there's other restaurants even WITHIN The Colony such as Muy Thai, which also have pad Thai and pad see ew for HALF the prices I paid.

I love padthai pork here with fresh vegetables it's good combination, Taste like home cook

I got the panang curry with chicken and pad see ew with tofu delivered on UberEats and was a little reluctant after seeing some of the reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised at what I got. The food was hot and fresh. The panang had good flavor, but tasted more like peanut sauce that most other panangs I've had, however I found it very good regardless. The portion seemed a bit small given the price, but only for the curry. The pad see ew noodles were super flavorful and the veggies were crisp and tasted great, the tofu was just steamed, but still perfectly cooked. I would definitely get the pad see ew again, maybe not the curry, just due to the value. If late at night without many options, would recommend this place, at least for delivery.

Ordered Rad Na, Hainanese Chicken Rice and Braised Pork Noodle Soup and they were all really yummy! And the portions are good too. I love that they include two packets of different chilis in the orders (doesn't apply for Hainan rice) so you can tailor your own spice levels. I personally really love the liquid chili vinegar sauce they give which is not something you get at other restaurants. Not sure why ppl are giving such low reviews. The above dishes were definitely way above the average Thai place. Will order from here again.
